Dangerous Dinner by Sacha in Deserted Century-old Mansion

Sacha Yasumoto, an interior architectural and spatial designer, holistic lifestylist and urban
explorer, organised a wildly successful “Dangerous Dinner” at a deserted mansion built in 1902
somewhere in the New Territories on 14 January 2023. To keep the location secret, the 30 diners

The century-old colonial building in a empty raw shell of concrete was transformed into a dazzling
setup styled by Heaven Scent Events with lavish velvet drapery, profuse blood-red roses and crystal
candelabras with matching candles. An amazing sumptuous 5-course champagne dinner was prepared
by Cordon Bleu chef of Mayu's Kitchen with no electricity nor running water. Live music
was curated by Wong Ki-chung, a violinist from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts,
as part of a string trio, throughout the event.

P H Yang, the official photographer, is an award-winning photojournalist whose work is licensed
by Lonely Planet in their travel guides and formerly by Dragonair. His photos for the event are
posted on social media, including Instagram @dangerousdinnershk and Facebook of Sacha Yasumoto
