Vanishing Round Corner Tenement

303 Castle Peak Road is a pre-war Tong Lau (Chinese Tenement house) built
in 1943. It is now one of the three remaining round corner tenement houses
in Hong Kong. As it was recently sold for redevelopment, the removal of the
windows on the second floor has ironically restored its historical look.
It has not been graded as a historical building and part of Hong Kong's
heritage is vanishing with its demolition.

Prizren at Dusk

Picturesque Prizren, Kosovo's second city, is charming with mosques and
monasteries dating back to the 14th century. Happily spared (mostly) from
both the 'destroy the old, build the new' drive of the communists of
Yugoslavia, as well as the ethnic and religious atrocities that plagued
the Western Balkans, Prizren has the best-preserved old town in the
country and is often referred to as the cultural capital of Kosovo.
