Galerie Les Noms in Sheung Wan - the only gallery dedicated to

lines of psycho pop - loud, surreal and slightly unnerving
mixing wacky objects in the same scene.

110,000 Rally at July 1 Protest
Ching Cheong and Lau Shan-ching, both former political detainees of China, lead
110,000 in the annual July 1 protest march from Victoria Park in Causeway Bay
to Government headquarters in Admiralty on Friday afternoon. Bookseller Lam
Wing-kee, illegally detained for eight months by Mainland authorities, dropped out
from leading the march at the last minute owing to personal safety concerns.
Pro-independence groups brandishing former British colonial flags and signs
for independence tried to get in front of the march and were separated by
the police. A handful of pro-Beijing people tried to disrupt the rally
flying Chinese flags but were far out-numbered by protesters.
