Over 200 penisula residents came out in force and joined in the "Say NO to Escalation! Bring the Troops Home!" demonstartion despite the record cold temperature.

Drivers honked their horns in support at the busy intersection of El Camino and Embarcadero near thhe Town and Country Village in Palo Alto.

The event was organized by the Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.
